Serving Tredyffrin & Easttown Townships Since 1894
Key Project Milestones
The need to replace our 94-year-old Main Station in Berwyn, as well as building a permanent Substation in Tredyffrin Township, are issues that have been discussed with both Tredyffrin and Easttown Townships for decades.
In 2019 a joint ESOP (Emergency Services Operations Planning) group was created with Supervisors from Tredyffrin & Easttown Townships, Township staff, and the Fire Companies serving the T-E Community. Additionally, the Berwyn Fire Company Capital Planning Group has Supervisor Liasions from both Tredyffrin and Easttown Townships.
These groups have been meeting on a regular basis for the last few years and have made great progress on issues concerning Fire / EMS services to the community, including the capital needs of the Fire Companies that serve the community.
The timeline below reflects the history of the overall project involving both the Main Station and Substation since 2008.
